Ned Simn may have surprised people in her radio broadcast by responding to an announcement by Toby that he was running for governor that hadn't happened. Yesterday on Dollport Radio News Toby said "Well I guess she got ahead of me. I really Am running for governor. I want to get people to work together making Dollport better. The goals for this year should include Norman mapping the Pi Acres, Rebuilding Baska, Improving Wellwest and the new town Airpoll, and Basic improvements in the Dollhouse. I look forward to these things being done and hope the election comes soon." Ned Simn's agenda at the moment is: Get out of the bathtub and point out our problems. Drive the guineas from Wellwest with a super soaker. Fund a bathtub and college of dental hygiene in Wellwest, and put the second bathtub in a Laursmen building. Ann Somebody says rebuilding Baska is on her agenda too.

Timsmen have also started a new town in to Poll barn called Airpoll with help in clearing the sight from mommy. It will be out of the wind and rain, near the Timsmen airport, and hopefully not the guineas favorite place to attack. Steven, a expert marksmen and veteran of matchbox civilization at Historic Dollport has been appointed mayor. The town so far has only one building, the town hall, but it's as big at the base as 4 houses and 2 stories tall. The Timsmen plan to add more stories to the building and other buildings to the town soon. A road is also planned from the town to the Timsmen airport, making transportation between the Airpoll and Wellwest easy. Everyone is invited to settle in the town, but cold weather may discourage much building until spring.

No one seems to have bothered to comment on the outcome of the Dollport election except for the Dollport website and there coverage is limited to a list of who won. Daniel Leaf (Dansmen) is now president. Incumbent Toby (Timsmen) got only one vote after basing his campaign on unpopular positions including term limits (He later decided there were not a good idea) and the right of non-dolls to run for offices not associated specifically with the town of Dollport. The outcome was rather strange. We had a run off election between Daniel Leaf and Quincy (Laursmen queen) By the way all three candidates ran for president last year too. Timsmen Candidate Elizabeth beat incumbent Daniel Dirt (Dansmen) and is now our governor. Ned Smin (Timsmen lunatic) and Antonio Hornhead (Laursmen King) were unable to stop the campaign of Ann Somebody for Mayor and she is now serving her second term. Here is a list of our other current representatives. (Courtesy of the Dollport website)
Astronomer Royal: | Antonio Hornhead (Laursmen) |
---|---|
Attorney General: | D Solder (Dansmen) |
Department of Defense: | Humer (Timsmen) |
Dollport Cartographer: | Norman Nicely (Timsmen) |
Fish and game admin: | Albert Fisher (Mommies) |
Foreign Affairs: | English Wire (Dansmen) |
Official bathtub cleaner: | Misses Wire (Timsmen) |
Regent: | Grandpa Wire (Timsmen) |
Secretary of the move: | Timothy L.(Timsmen) |
Wildlife Management: | Ester (Laursmen) |
Touchdown: | D. Indian (Dansmen) |
Now we are left to speculate who will run in the next race.

Dollport is on the move. The wire dollhouse and the new half of the main dollhouse have already moved to the no house along with the Lego town. The doll council and the secretary of the move were debating weather to bring much of Dollport to the new house early in the moving process in order to better figure out where to put them, A plan that they have adopted. Laura's Barn has also been taken out to the new house. The doll garden and the other half of the main dollhouse are being packed and will be moved soon.

This is Daniel leaf's equivalent to Toby's fundraiser.(See page 1) Daniel Leaf proposed a doll terminal system as he calls it to give computer access to all dolls. It has been highly successful and the Dansmen have written a lot of software for it. Says unpopular, Timsmen mayoral candidate Ned Smin "We must retaliate!" Timteck, the Timsmen leader in doll software merely says "We have been a little negligent in writing doll software other than operating systems, but one terminal system is enough.

This is a pretty simple topic Toby has decided to hold a fair to raise money for the doll government and to raise opinions about his campaign for reelection as president. All the same it's a great idea and we encourage you to participate. Daniel leaf said upon the announcement of the fair that considering similar ideas.
