Commodore Amiga 1000

My Amiga 1000

The Amiga 1000 was the first entry in Commodore's popular Amiga line and a big step up from their 8-bit machines. Released in mid 1985, it provided a graphical desktop with full preemptive multitasking, advanced color graphics, and music-synthesis in an age when even the Macintosh was only beeping and running one black-and-white program at a time. My Amiga 1000 has a MicroBotics 2MB memory expansion attached to the side.
